Losing weight is one of the most challenging attempts in the universe because (1) you do not know if you are going to last or (2) until when the figure you earned from dieting will last. It’s a case to case basis. People suffering from obesity can pull it off 90-100% because they are motivated. If they do not use up the stored fats in their body immediately, they can develop heart diseases, diabetes, or hypertension or suffer from low self-esteem. The average individual who has less motivation other than look good in the upcoming prom or reunion tends to always go back to square one. However, natural weight loss is still weight loss and it has become a word of mouth especially at the turn of the century when vanity started to count a lot. You cannot blame those celebrities and supermodels but they are among the forces behind weight loss.
Weight loss is good if it is healthy and natural. Experts favor the no-pills technique because it gives better outcomes like improved lifestyle and health and enhanced beauty. Notice how healthy people develop glowing skin that makes them look 10 years younger. Those who want to experience the same effect need only follow the rules and take care of their eating habits and daily routines. For those who want to be in good shape and stay in good shape, achieving you goals naturally is not impossible although it indeed means long wait. Fellow weight-watchers swear by the effectiveness of the following natural methods. Natural means no pills or specially formulated drinks; only pure hard work, perseverance, and self-discipline. These may take you some time before seeing the results but you can guarantee that they are good and will get you the body you have been dreaming. (more…)

In the weight loss industry, many sectors often claim that their methods exemplify natural weight loss. When a weight loss company, practitioner, or program promotes itself or its techniques are adherent to natural weight loss, then many people are surely going to flock to them and treat their counsels as credible. “Natural” has gained, over time, a positive connotation in the fields of medicine and wellness. But today, with almost any weight loss program presenting itself as “natural”, it is hard to set boundaries regarding what is genuinely natural and speciously natural.
Advertising has gotten to the point that they can make an audience believe that a certain weight loss method is natural – when in fact, the “natural” used is most often just a label to attract customers, without regard for any definite meaning. No wonder fad diets are getting rampant and diet pills or supplements are consumed more and more because of the beguiling assurances of their being “natural” wrapped up in enticing sales promotions and alluring images. The cultural stigma brought about by obesity and the psychological importance of having a body image in line with social expectations compounds the issue by pressuring customers to purchase “natural” products without first analyzing what “natural” is.
Intelligent customers should first know what natural weight loss really is; and given that, determine next which techniques portrayed as “natural” are really natural. That way, they can be well informed and think critically about their weight loss activities and not be stuck with ineffective, costly or even unsafe weight loss routines for a long time. Before knowing what natural weight loss really is, it might help us to know what it is not. (more…)

When most people try to lose weight, they often resort to crash diets that leave them feeling weak and hungry. Not only is this strategy potentially dangerous, it rarely proves effective in the long-term.
So what is the best way to trim your waistline without risking your health? According to Paul A. Achoa, a health and fitness expert who writes instructionals focused on how to lose weight, the best diet plans are centered on eating.
“It may seem counter-intuitive, but eating is a critical part of any weight-loss program.” Achoa said. “That being said, you need to eat the right things.”

One of the leading factors in staying in shape is the selection of foods you choose to consume and in what quantity. Accept it or not, but most diseases today are caused by an unhealthy dieting and the lack of nutrient-rich calories needed to assist our immune system.
Stay away from the processed and unrefined foods and watch your energy levels increase and stress levels go down. Picking the right types of food enables our bodies to properly regulate the blood sugar levels.
The right way to advance metabolism and shed fat naturally is from eating the right class of foods. Maintaining the weight loss will not be difficult and there will be no side effects to deal with from pills or unhealthy diets.
Increase performance levels by eating good food sources that provide essential amounts of energy.

For the next six weeks, I am going to try the weight loss formula I set out in my previous post on how to get thin in six weeks. Starting today, I am going to do exactly what is outlined in that post and then, in six weeks time, I will report my results. I may give an intermediate progress report, but if I do, it will not report results in terms of weight loss. That’s because I am not going to weigh myself, after today, for the next six weeks.
So my current weight is: 209 lbs (94.8kg) or 14st 13 lbs in old money, so to speak and this is the heaviest I have ever been in my life, so it is a good time to start. I have only dieted once before, seriously. That was about fifteen years ago. At that time, my starting weight was 14st 9 lbs (205 lbs, 93 kg) and I eventually lost exactly two stones (28 lbs, 12.7 kg). (more…)

Weight loss is an endeavor that seems to be very hard for a lot of people to achieve. This is because weight loss means to exert too much effort. Whether you want keep off 3 pounds or more, there are guiding principles as to how much you would want to lose and how fast you’d want weight loss to happen.
The truth is you can achieve weight loss even without dieting, medication or the aid of special books. A person’s body weight is dependent on how much energy he takes in, in the form of food and the total energy he spends in his day-to-day routines. Since energy comes from calories, your weight remains the same if your total amount of calorie intake is the same as what you burn through your activities.
Consequently, if you are putting on the pounds slowly, it can be said that your calorie intake is much greater than what you can burn throughout the day. Remember, you are in control of how much food you eat, so you are the one in control of how much calories you fill your body with. You also control how much you burn or how much your energy output is. Therefore, weight loss depends on what you eat and what you do. The calories we burn every day depend on our BMR or basal metabolic rate and the extent of our physical routines.

Considering the growing concerns about obesity and other health ailments connected with it, weight loss is now being practiced and discussed more than ever before. In fact, the many health problems that plague society have a lot to do with the way people live, what they do with their bodies knowingly or unknowingly, and how much they think about wellness as part of their lives.
Along the way, there are occasional news reports that are quite disturbing such as the increasing number of Americans who are classified as obese, shortening life spans, heart attack incidents and more. Meanwhile, the influence of wellness is pretty much present in people’s lives due to wide media coverage (examples: exercise shows, doctors sharing health tips on TV, etc.) and because of this, the issue of weight loss remains visible enough for the public.
Achieving weight loss alone is very daunting to many. This is because a lot of adults are too occupied with the demands and activities of their regular jobs. Typically, working people get up at either five or six o’clock in the morning, take breakfast, get dressed and spend a good deal of time in traffic before reaching the office. After a full day of work, workers are often drained of their time and energy and their stress goes on with their struggle with traffic on the way home. By the time they reach home, they simply have no time left to exercise and prefer to have dinner as part of their effort to relax.
