Salad Bars and Weight Loss Diets
Most People think when visiting the salad bar that everything there is healthy and can be consumed during a weight loss diet. However that is far from the truth. While vegetables are good for your health and your appearance that doesn’t hold for the salad dressings and carbohydrates that find their way in many salads like croutons or noodles. Not to mention other ingredients like bacon that are much worse. That’s why you need to be careful when you are visiting that section of a restaurant and make wise choices of what you are putting on your plate if you don’t want to derail your diet. Go for the vegetables but try to avoid most other things that are there which is true that can add much better flavor and taste to your food, but would also lead you to put more weight. (more…)
